  • 100 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • 1 vanilla pod (seeds)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 200g whipping cream
  • 300 ml cannabis milk

Zubereitung

  1. Prepare the caramel base:

    Heat the butter together with the sugar, the scraped-out seeds of the vanilla pod and a pinch of salt in a large, wide pot.
    Simmer gently for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture turns golden.
  2. Stir in milk and cream:

    Add the whipped cream and milk and mix well. Briefly bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to medium.
    Let it simmer at a rolling boil for at least 40 minutes without a lid. Stir regularly to prevent burning.
  3. Durability test:

    After about 40 minutes, drop a little caramel onto a plate. If the drop hardens as it cools, the mixture is ready.
    If it remains soft, simmer for a few more minutes and test again.
  4. Forms:

    Pour the thickened caramel into a shallow baking dish lined with baking paper and smooth it out.
    Allow to set overnight at room temperature.
  5. Cutting & Packaging:

    The next day, turn the caramel out of the mold, cut it into even pieces, and wrap each piece individually in cellophane if desired.
    or wrap them in waxed paper. This will keep the candies fresh and prevent them from sticking together.
