Refund & Return Policy
Thank you for shopping with Max Buechse. This policy applies to all purchases, including physical products (DIY sets, ingredients, food additives) and digital items (e-books, recipes, or formulations). By completing your purchase, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
According to EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, except where the exclusions below apply.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day you or a third party (other than the carrier) takes possession of the last item in your order.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, send a clear statement (e.g. by email) to support@maxbuechse.com indicating your decision to withdraw.
2. Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except additional costs resulting from a non-standard shipping method you selected), without undue delay and at the latest within 14 days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal.
The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of return, whichever is earlier.
You must send back the goods promptly, and in any case within 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts involving:
- Perishable or temperature-sensitive goods, or products intended for immediate consumption (e.g. food, supplements, or ingredients).
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once the seal or packaging has been opened or damaged (Article 16 (e) Directive 2011/83/EU / § 312g (2) No. 3 BGB).
- Customized or mixed products made to your specifications (e.g. personalized bundles or mixed ingredient kits).
- Digital content such as e-books, downloads, recipes, or formulations, once the digital file or access link has been opened or activated (Article 16 (m) Directive 2011/83/EU / § 312g (2) No. 6 BGB).
Our Max Buechse Sets & Digital Editions are sealed for quality, safety, and intellectual-property reasons. Once the seal is broken or the download accessed, the refund right expires immediately.
Please check the packaging carefully before opening or unsealing. Returns of opened, damaged, or used food-grade products and opened digital files are not accepted.
4. Technical Support & Product Issues
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you experience technical problems with digital downloads or defects with physical goods upon arrival, contact us at support@maxbuechse.com within 7 days of delivery for evaluation and assistance.
5. Exceptions & Refund Approval
Refunds may be approved only in exceptional cases such as:
- Duplicate or accidental purchases (proof required).
- Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (after verification).
- Shipping damage or incorrect items delivered (with photo evidence upon arrival).
6. No Refund for Change of Mind
Due to the nature of food-related and digital products, we cannot provide refunds or returns based on a change of mind, personal preferences, or dissatisfaction with taste, texture, or content once the product has been opened or accessed.
7. Disclaimer
All Max Buechse products are developed and manufactured with care and undergo strict quality control. However, individual results may vary. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, effects, or experiences from consuming or using our products.
Before purchase, please review all product descriptions, ingredient lists, sample images, and compatibility requirements carefully.
